Claude.ai connects as a custom connector. Claude Code has a public GitHub marketplace with the same Skill and MCP. No account is needed: every audit opens through its own link.

Claude.ai

  1. Open Claude connectors.

    In Claude, choose your name or avatar → Customize → Connectors. You can also open the Claude connectors page directly.

  2. Add a custom connector.

    Select + → Add custom connector. Complete Name, then paste the address into the remote MCP server URL field. Do not enter optional OAuth Client ID or Secret values.

  3. Save without OAuth.

    Select Add. If Claude offers authentication, choose the option without authentication.

    For Team and Enterprise, the organisation owner first adds the connector in Organization settings → Connectors.
  4. Enable it in a conversation.

    Start a new chat, select + in the lower-left corner → Connectors, then enable SEO Audit Agent.

  5. Start the audit.

    Run a complete SEO audit for example.com

Claude’s guide to custom connectors

Claude Code

Copy the task below into Claude Code. It adds the public marketplace, installs the plugin, and verifies MCP without registration.

Automatic install prompt
Install SEO Audit Agent in Claude Code.

1. Add the marketplace: /plugin marketplace add aktaumag/seo-audit-agent-plugin
2. Install the plugin: /plugin install seo-audit-agent@seo-audit-agent
3. Run /reload-plugins.
4. Confirm that the SEO Audit Agent Skill and MCP tools are available.
5. Connect without OAuth. Audits open and continue through individual links.

Do not change or delete other plugins or MCP servers. After checking, offer to start a complete SEO audit.

Run these commands in Claude Code in order. No sign-in is needed during installation:

Claude.ai uses the connector without a ZIP; the refreshed Skill has a short list of new results and continues the audit until a real blocking reason occurs.

Claude receives the manual steps, source link, and required evidence format from MCP. It explains what to open and which result to provide, saves the answer, and continues the queue.
